Zinc can be purchased in either sheet or coils and is available in various widths up to and including1metre.
Most of the zinc produced today is an alloy of Zinc, Copper and Titanium. This alloy is far superior to the old rolled zinc which was soft when you compare it now to Titanium Zinc for the following reasons :-
1. Better tensile strength.
2. Complete resistance to creep.
3. 30% lower linear expansion rates.
4. Superior surface finish.

Appearance
Natural or mill finish is matt silver in colour, which after several years use tones down to a matt grey colour, this matt grey colour is the zinc's own protection system called patina.
Or you could use the pre-weathered factory finish which does not change its shade of grey during its life.
